Infra-red Camera Gallery
The number of licences sent to Natural England in regards to badgers and removal of their setts (dens) has increased quite substantially over the past years.
These video's were taken with our infrared cameras at a site in South Yorkshire. Using infrared allows us to record and monitor activity - such as badger activity - effectively and without any unnecessary additional disturbance.
This video also demonstrates how we go about performing such a delicate task.
Some video monitoring of a badger sett recently confirmed that the sett
is a main breeding sett when this baby badger emerged and started to
explore the world outside its' sett.
