Environmental Stewardship
Our FEP surveyors have the necessary training and experience to carry out Farm Environment Plan surveys in preparation for the four strands of the Environmental Stewardship scheme. All surveyors are registered with the regional Natural England offices.
Environmental Stewardship (ES) is a government scheme open to all farmers, land managers and tenants in England where farmers are financially rewarded for good stewardship of their land and managing it to improve the quality of the environment, which is currently worth around £370 million. The Environmental Stewardship scheme encompasses four strands:
- Entry Level Stewardship (ELS)
- Organic Entry Level Stewardship (OELS)
- Upland Entry Level Stewardship (UELS)
- Higher Level Stewardship (HLS)
Environmental Stewardship Applications
Our FEP surveyors provide the following specialist services for Environmental Stewardship applications and agreement holders throughout England:
- Production of Farm Environment Plans (FEPs) (a requirement of HLS applications)
- Drawing-up and submission of ELS and combined ELS / HLS applications
