One of our ecologist recently attended an IEEM Masterclass seminar hosted by Penny Simpson of DLA Piper LLP, for an update on European Protected Species (EPS) legal issues. Penny is well known for her expertise in this area , and was involved in the case of Woolley vs Cheshire Borough Council which clarified the legal duty of local planning authorities when dealing with EPS.
